Re: New iPad Pro; Resolution, Choose 9.7” or 10.5”?

yup, I am using an iMac at the office, two laptops (one at home and one traveling), an iPad Pro, an iPad Mini, and an iPhone and everything syncs fine as long as you are mindful about the syncing process

Re: Taskpaper 3

Have hou looked at the new Agenda app? It’s basically just a note taking app but the notes can be connected to dates and you can phrase them like to-do:s and tick them off. One of the guys behind it was the one who originally developed the Papers reference manager (Griekspoor, alias ’mekentosj’) Lo...

Re: Taskpaper 3

marcoiac, it sounds as if you're suffering from CRIMP, as defined here: http://www.outlinersoftware.com/topics/viewt/17/0/crimp-defined :) haha, not the full syndrome, not anymore at least, although I think not too long ago I definitely had the bug! now I just surrendered to chaos :D

Re: Taskpaper 3

I started with Taskpaper 3, but after I discovered NotePlan in the AppStore (macOS and iOS, synching via iCloud of course), I never went back. The formatting possibilities are similar or better, basically Markdown is supported. Which is great. Also great is the fact that you can have tasks in notes...

Re: Papers 3 citations working in Scrivener 3?

I am also running the beta of Papers 3 and it runs smoothly (so far). There were plenty of annotations bugs that this version has definitely ironed out. I highly recommend running the beta. The warning words are just standard warnings for beta.

Re: Slowness with Scrivener 3 and Dropbox syncing

it's got to be something with that particular project. you should probably contact support, since it does sound like an issue with your files. i doubt you can find a solution to your specific problem in the forum

Re: Any plans to move to iCloud sync?

Can't find a way to post a new topic. Question : I've followed instructions for syncing, and am wondering is "sync" just storing main files on dropbox? I mostly want to sync between laptop and desktop. But don’t' like leaving files on DB. Thank you. Yes, copies of your projects wil...

Re: Do any of you keep ALL your writing in one project?

I toyed with the idea, but it gets unmanageable pretty quickly. And frankly, there is also a lot to be said for having separate .scriv files for even relatively small projects. I do use a .scriv file as a log of all my activities. As a fairly senior academic, I do now a lot of academic senate servic...

Highlighting PDFs not working properly

I am running the latest public beta of High Sierra, 10.13.3 Beta (17D25b). I am seeing this behavior in two machines (MacBook and MacBook Pro 13" first generation) both running Scrivener 3.0.1 (966). When I highlight multiple lines of a PDF only one line gets highlighted. When re-highlight the ...

Re: Simplenote Syncing Gone in Version 3.0?

I'm surprised no one else has posted about this as far as I can tell. . I am actually not surprised you are the first one to notice because Simplenote has become quite unreliable over the years and I think its user base is now limited. I used to use it and stopped using it a long time ago. I am not...

Re: Papers 3 citations working in Scrivener 3?

I would not hold my breath. There is a highlighting bug they have been aware of for months, still not ironed out. Lots of other little bugs. Still usable, but the feel is that there is not much support/development for the app at the moment

Re: Papers 3 citations working in Scrivener 3?

I had no idea that the fix that Papers support suggested was actually originally from this forum! :D It seems to me that that's another sign that the app may be on shaky grounds, for whatever internal reasons. I used to use Sente and for many years it went well. And then it became fundamentally unde...
