I suspect this wish will remain a wish. The best available German spelling checker is the “Duden Korrector”, which is bundled with “Papyrus Author” and “TextMaker”. It does examine not only the words itself, but also whether the endings in declension and conjugation match, quite important in a highly inflected language like German.
