Session Targets timeout - Session Targets will be reset

This shows up every time I start Scrivener and has for the last 2-3 versions. What's it telling me? And does it need to? Every time?

Yes, I've seen this too - mentioned in a report about multiple document opening problems:

Here's maybe a further clue.

- I tried multiple projects, one after another - at first seemed to sork
- but on the third one, I got a strange flash-up alert that disappeared, actually in two steps:
= something about ... Targets Timeout
= then similar ... Targets Timeouts Resetting

I too have seen it. Not sure what it means, although guessing it has to do with some sort of timeout or rollover maybe?

From an older thread:

Please, check Project > Project Targets > Options > "Session Target" tab. It could be that some projects have it switched on to automatic reset at 1:00am each day. You can turn off the notifications by the check box at the bottom: "Show target notifications".

I was seeing this on every project I open with Version: 2.9.9.11 Beta (1078454) 64-bit - 14 Oct 2020. Fixed it with the above instructions, but chiming in because I've never set any targets in any document ever.
