A fluffy, comfortable read on how not to do it 
I remember someone here recommended this one on a similar note: How “Not to Write a Novel: 200 Classic Mistakes and How to Avoid Them–A Misstep-by-Misstep Guide”. I quite enjoyed it (except for the bits that were a bit too close to stuff I’d written. Sigh).
