Can't make text black if default is grey...

Blimey, I bet you think I’m a right nitwit posting here all the time. However, I cannot seem to make the label text black if I have the “default” colour set in the document to a grey colour:

However, if I select the dark grey colour from the palette (or any other colour for that matter) it changes fine, but selecting “black” changes it back to the default colour, even though the default colour in the document is not black:

All the best,

Mark.

Yeah, I get the same thing. It looks like black text is considered synonymous with “default” or “no colour”, and that resets it back to the document default which is grey.

Curious; I actually coded it that way, but I can’t remember why. I’ve fixed this for the next update, but look out for any strange behaviour caused by it - I must have implemented it for a reason, but I didn’t comment it, which is unusual. It’s probably a hangover from earlier betas when there was no way to remove the colour.

Uh oh. I’ll let you know if that black-hole in the living room re-opens.

All the best,

Mark.
