This shows up every time I start Scrivener and has for the last 2-3 versions. What's it telling me? And does it need to? Every time?

Yes, I've seen this too - mentioned in a report about multiple document opening problems:

- I tried multiple projects, one after another - at first seemed to sork
- but on the third one, I got a strange flash-up alert that disappeared, actually in two steps:
= something about ... Targets Timeout

I too have seen it. Not sure what it means, although guessing it has to do with some sort of timeout or rollover maybe?

From an older thread:
tiho_d wrote:Please, check Project > Project Targets > Options > "Session Target" tab. It could be that some projects have it switched on to automatic reset at 1:00am each day. You can turn off the notifications by the check box at the bottom: "Show target notifications".
