System specs:
Scrivener v. 2.9.0.10
Windows 10

Current behavior:
Scrivener uses two different types of widgets: integrated panels like the Binder and Inspector, and pop-ups like the Styles panel. The two are handled differently in terms of visibility, size and location.

Expected behavior:
Use docks to arrange all "text-side" UI elements such that they can be dragged, resized, popped in and out, and toggled as the user sees fit.

You should definitely post this in the Wishlist forum (maybe do a search first to see if it's already been discussed) as this would be a major UI reworking that would affect both Mac and Windows versions and is out of scope for this beta from what they've told us.
