Dropbox sync is too restrictive - any other option, even iCloud??

I get your point, in that there is no actionable information for the person having the issue in that statement. But, the fact that the syncing process *does work* is still relevant, to the extent that it gives the person with the issue hope that it will (eventually) be resolved, so they have a basis to keep trying to fix it. In one of your posts, it seemed you had given up, but then you persevered and solved it. Good on you.

Mostly because I'm annoyed even worse by Ulysses on iOS.

Plus, I had sat through every one of those danged Scrivener videos.
