Considering the fact that the iOS app is coming and more and more news and blog posts are leaking out, maybe it's an idea to make a separate subboard for the iOS app (like you have with Windows and Mac now) or for Mobile Apps if an Android would come later.
And this thread and a couple of related ones can be in it as a starter?

Just a proposition.

I thought it was mentioned, but will iSriv have issues with Dropbox?

It's in the linked blog, but yes, it works extremely well with Dropbox.

Alas this poor thread that started in December 2014 is nearing an end.

I am thrilled at the prospect of collaboration amongst my devices. I use them all but my iPad Pro remains my first love for writing.

It is kind of a numb feeling. I hope that Scrivner is able to be on stage at WWDC much the same way Ulysses was this year. Writers everywhere are warming up their iPad prose ( :D ) in anticipation.

possibly a silly question but I hope you'll indulge me, how will we know when the app is for sale on the Apple App Store, will there be an email or is it a check each day affair?

I'd say when the app is submitted to Apple, it will be announced all the usual places: the forum, the blog, the newsletter. But we don't have any control over the lag between submission and actual appearance in the App Store.

W00t!

...runs around the room flailing, falls over...

I totally missed this news, having dismissed the recent newsletter as just the annual software discount promo and therefore didn't bother to scroll to the bottom. I'm so glad I wandered over here on a whim :D

I think it's very nearly four years to the day since I bought an iPad 2 in anticipation of being able to use Scrivener for iOS for NaNoWriMo 2012. A long wait, but understandable given the difficulties L&L have had in hiring freelancers capable of the work - mad props to KB for taking this on and bringing it to completion!

Indeed! As sidderke says, in the run up to release, we're posting daily information about the iOS features here:

http://www.literatureandlatte.com/blog/

I've spent this week writing copy and creating screenshots for the App Store, which are now all in place:

Expect to find this thread in a different location in the next couple of days, as it will be moving to the new iOS subforum...

So it's July. I've been faithfully reading the blog posts, every day. Going into the App Store and typing in Scrivener only to get those 'wanna be' writing apps. It's not even the first week in July anymore, so I feel like I've been waiting really, really patiently.

Then I notice iOS has its very own forum thread. So in return to childhood.

Are we there yet, are we there yet, are we there yet.......

I noticed there was no iOS blog post for Friday or today. Please satiate my need for updates about the iOS app. :D
