You realize, of course, that this would be an excellent T-shirt.

I assume that he means the in-house beta, so there's still hope for all you guys who are willing to loose work on pre-release software and are waiting for an invite!

I think pretty much everyone that has commented in this thread would be willing to lose work in such a fashion. ;) I know I would. Either way, it is great news because we are one step closer to the production release. The entire Lit and Latte Staff will probably go on a week-long bender when the official release happens.

Keith, I too wish to add my congratulations in bringing iOS Scrivener to the beta stage. With the many, I look forward to using the programme. Additionally I would be happy and honoured to be part of the public beta testing - but this more motivated by my own personal impatience rather than what I could offer as a beta tester. I look forward to the programme and wish you all the best. Again congratulations in getting to this milestone.

I am excited for this, even although I now have the perspective that Scrivener is indeed the 'killer app' which justified my last-year purchase of the (then) new Macbook.
I also look forward to Keith's eventually finishing and publishing his own novel. j

May I echo this post exactly - I too would be keen to see the iOS, so would love to sign up for the Beta programme, but I would not count myself as an experienced beta tester, though I did also run and give some feedback on the Scapple beta test.

Are any of you guys experienced enough to know how long, in a process like this, the private and public beta is likely to last. Are we talking months and months of each, so we're bumping up against the November timeframe for a public release? Or might it be sooner?

Of course Keith (wisely so) will refrain from delivering a timeline, but as a general rule, do you guys have a rough range, time-wise?
