I had Roberta, Too! Hmmm... her having a "steamy" side could explain some things from her past. Very interesting.

Also, I second the sentiments about how much a pleasure it has been to participate during the most bizarre of times. The only problem is getting back into reality (after a long afternoon nap) and deciphering what's really happening at the White House and what's going on in this storyline. Ha! Some days it seems like a fantasy version of D.C. put together in a hurry by a bunch of quarantined writer types would be better for humanity than the current goings-on. On second thought, maybe we are in some sort of Mad-Lib altered existence written by a second grade class? Hmmm.....

At any rate, all the best to everyone - can't wait to read the books! (from Minnesota, in the US)

I got Roberta but I envisioned her as a decent person who thrived in the political spotlight. :o

Hey gr! I love the flaming cup. Can we one-timers get one too?

I once asked gr. I think he has it because he has a superpower we don't, but we'll thank him for that. Wait till Rog's posted the fruit of our labours...

HIYA EVERYONE!

Wow! Putting chapters together into 7 different books takes a looooong time!
Sorry for the delay in getting the books up. We had huge numbers take part this time, and, for some reason significantly more people submitted at or near the deadline this year rather than spread our through the day.

Anyway - the books are NOW LIVE! Head over to the Library (or go straight to the book) to check it out.

Been doing research on the White House security systems, looking for floor plans, trying to see if there’s anything that might help when I got a loud knock on the front door, followed by the ringing of my doorbell. I jumped to my feet, told my 12 year old daughter who’s sprawled across the couch to go hide in her closet, while I hid in mine. Turns out my teenage daughter ordered a package and Amazon was just delivering it.
Now that’s a way to start one’s day.

Hahaha! :D

We're very proud of you Piggy! Thanks for bringing it all together.

October will come. Wake [us] up when September ends. Last time it was zombies. Wonder what'll come round NiAD10...

Yep, the typos! the typos! I knew I should have asked my wife to read it before I pushed the SEND button.

BTW, I added my coffee cup, but I can't get it onto the same line. Could someone give me advice on the coding?

Ian, I got logic errors:

Code: Select all

Those in my field understand: typos < grammatical errors < logical errors. My writing works, it satisfies the brief, but it doesn't fit what everyone else has written, as expected in every NiaD.

I should feel worse than you :D

They can't be on the same line. I tried. You can't reconcile Montagues and Capulets unless... you know.

I made a mistake  Used a name twice for different made up characters. Might not be noticeable, but I know it's there.

Orange is readable fun! Roberta gettin' things done!

Thank you all very much for this cozy project. Hope more folks can get what they need out there.

The Bespoke Edition of NIAD 9 1/2 is now available.

http://gbrish.net/niadweb/2020X

This website edition is designed to enable you to easily survey and browse all of the written chapters of the book, and, if you choose, to compile your own bespoke version.

And it is definitely the best place to read all 1,633,640,400 distinct versions of the book!
