Hi - is there a way to increase the DPI when exporting? I want to use my diagrams in a printed book, which requires 300+DPI.

Are you exporting a PDF or a PNG? PDF would probably be better for your purposes. It should be fully scaleable.

If you are exporting to PNG, use GIMP (free) or Photoshop (if you have it) or any other image editor which will do batch processing to change the resolution to 300 ppi on all of them when you're ready to send it for publication.

There are ways of having the two versions, a low resolution one for use in the Scrivener editor, and a high resolution one which is substituted at compile time. I've never done it, so I'm unable to say more, other than that there are threads about it on the forums, and there must be info in the manual.

If you're not using Scrivener, you can ignore the last paragraph.
