The macOS update is likely to be a good six months ahead of the Windows one (like an inverse Microsoft), but our Windows developers are working on a 3.0 to match the macOS version (in case any Windows users happen along here)...

Press release: Literature and Latte announce an advanced preview of Scrivener version 3 for Windows.
This advanced preview will be tested first on the Mac platform to work out any flaws in the implementation (those silly Mac users will gladly act as guinea pigs for the benefit of Windows users), but will showcase new features and design elements that Windows users can look forward to*. Lit & Lat are happy to bring this quantum leap in Scrivener technology as soon as 2018 or sooner!

*Some slight differences between the advanced release and the final version may occur, purely for the benefit of the Windows user base.
