Pasting content with links will link part of the text after the link

Really annoying behavior. Let's say you have something like this in your notepad file (or whatever you have):

https://google.com
use this to find stuff!


Bold in this context means that's what is linked. Makes sense, right? Only the link itself should be a hyperlink to said link. However, when you paste the above into Scapple into a new note, this happens instead:

https://google.com
use
this to find stuff!


Part of what comes after the link is hyperlinked as well! Even worse, if you click on the link, it becomes "https://google.comuse"! Pretty much ruins most of my link related notes and I have to retype the first word or first 5 to 10 letters after each link.

Is there a way to avoid this behavior?
