Since the Windows Beta is so new, I wasn't sure where everyone was wanting us to put the bugs/problems we find for it. I figured this was as good of a forum as any.

Anyway, the very first thing I noticed was that the Scapple installer didn't create a desktop shortcut. I had to search for the .exe in my start menu.

Second, the program doesn't show up in a start menu search as a program unless I type the entire name. Also, it doesn't seem to appear in my start menu list of recently opened programs.

What version of Windows are you using, and where did you install to? The installer should have done both of those things, at least for XP through Win7. Windows 8 is all crazy now (and I don't have a copy), so I don't think desktop shortcuts are in vogue, though you can create them yourself.
