Hi all,

Scapple has just been released! The product page can be found here:

http://www.literatureandlatte.com/scapple.php

The "Technical Support" and "Bug Hunt" forums for Scapple are now open for business, so please post any issues with 1.0 there from now on.

My sincere thanks to everyone who helped with beta testing Scapple and helping to make it into a better app.

All the best,
Keith

Read it, bought it, have it already activated.

I hardly will invest 15 euros better in the foreseeable future.

Congratulations.

Thanks so much for allowing me to be part of the Beta testing. Had a great time and have bought a copy.

Fantastic! This is such a useful tool. Many thanks for developing it.

Thoroughly enjoyed using the beta versions; I've been eagerly awaiting the opportunity to buy the launch version from about a week after first downloading at the end of last year. Delighted to be able purchase at last, which I've just done.

Excellent news! A quick question. Which is more advantageous for you the developer: for us to buy Scapple through your own site or through the Mac App Store? Financially, marketing-wise, etc.

Financially, we make more money via our own store, because we only pay something like 6% to eSellerate as opposed to the 30-40% Apple takes. However, you should go with whichever works best with you. The only real difference between the apps is that the Mac App Store version is sandboxed (which can be a negative, but not so much for a simple app such as Scapple) and has access to iCloud; the regular version has no access to iCloud because only Mac App Store apps are granted access.

Thanks!

All the best,
Keith

Thanks Keith. I had a feeling it was to your financial benefit to buy through your store, but wanted to make sure.
