As the number of styles I use in a Scapple grows, I find myself having to modify them to stay distinct from others. When I do, I have go around the whole Scapple updating nodes with the changed style.

A great feature would be to tie nodes to explicit styles so that changes to that style will get reflected in any node using it.

What I do now is create a palette of free-hanging nodes with styles that I copy/paste onto nodes that need the styles.

Love this app. Best piece of creation software I've ever used. Thanks.

I think that this is a useful suggestion.

Thanks for the suggestion, but the note styles are just formatting presets that get painted on, they are not a styles system per se. I may reconsider this request for the future, but this won't be part of 1.0.

All the best,
Keith

An option to "select by style" would also address this without having to deal with a "styles system". I too find myself re-styling as my outline /diagram grows.
