For one using a low-contrast Windows theme to combat eyestrain, the Scrivener editor icons for Horizontal, Vertical, and No Split look about alike.

(To scale this image to the resolution I'm using, please zoom it to three inches across. Yep, the index card method.)

A darker bar in the H-split and V-split icons is my modest request.

Thanks for considering. -- Jerome

We're going to have a full UI overhaul for the next major version (3.0 - Scrivener for Windows will be skipping a version number to bring it up to date with the Mac; that's the plan, anyway - there's still a lot of work to do). We should be getting new icons for all of these.

Thanks and all the best,

That is simply outstanding news!

Soon we users of the Windows version will no longer be Feature Poor and will be able to walk with our heads held high!

Let me know if getting some coffee, energy drinks, etc., will help.
