Wish: Multiple highlight hotkeys

Hello. Is there any way I can set a hot key for a specific highlight colour? For example, I tend to be sporadic with my tenses. I am currently using yellow for current tense, while I use orange for past tense. Pressing control and shift and H is nice, when I want to highlight the previous selected colour.

But what if I don't want to use the previous colour? I use my laptop without a mouse, and it would be much easier if I could, say, Control + shift + H + 1 for the first colour, Control + shift + H + 2 for the second, etc.
And I know for a fact that this wouldn't be hard to implement.

Edit: I have no idea if this feature is on the mac one, and I understand this is made by one developer. But, even so, thank you for reading this.

You can define a custom keyboard shortcut for any menu item in any application by going to the Shortcuts tab of the Keyboard panel in System Preferences. See http://support.apple.com/kb/PH13916?vie ... cale=en_US

EDIT: Oh, wait. You are using Windows. Sorry, I don't know how to do that on your system.

Yeah, unfortunately it does not help me much but thank you for the link anyway.
Hopefully this will be considered in the future. It would be nice.

Hi Zaq, how would I use this to change the colours? I'm familiar with programming/scripting, I'm just not sure how I would do that.
