View/Layout not showing saved layouts in 1.7.0.5

In the 1.7.0.5 beta version, View/Layout does not display my saved layouts (even though I can see them when I use Windows/Layouts). I will download 1.7.0.6 and see if it is different.

Saved layouts are accessed via Window > Layouts or via the Layout Manager directly (which also has a toolbar icon if you prefer that).

But
I guess I'm confused, because the manual of August, 2013, Revision: 1.6.1-01, says on page 74; "To show the Layouts panel, select View> Layout> Manage Layouts." Am I just confusing terminology here?
Window > Layouts works just as advertised (as you indicated above).

No, it's just an old manual, before the Window menu existed. The user manual will be updated for the 1.7 release.

Terrific! I will wait upon 1.7 before printing a new copy of the manual.

The manual in v1.7.0.6 is updated, jwnelson. Give it a look and let us know if something does not match up. There will be very minor changes(if any) with the manual coming in v1.7.0.6 and the official 1.7 release.

It's the Interactive Tutorial that has been updated for 1.7.0.6. The PDF User Manual is still under construction.

Looking forward to that revision. I think I've only enjoyed about 16% of Scrivener's capabilities.
