BETA 1.7.0.6 Released on 12th May 2014

Hi Folks,
I'm very pleased to announce our sixth, and hopefully final beta (famous last words - again!), before release. This beta addresses another ~50 refinements and fixes in Windows Scrivener.

This post pertains to the 6th beta release (1.7.0.6) and addresses the fixes we've made since 1.7.0.5 released on the 24th April 2014.

Some Highlights:
- New algorithm for matching Mac fonts for cross platform project users.
- Import/Export updates and improvements to 3rd party file converters (Scrivener's rtf is still the best!).
- Translation updates for 1.7: Italian, Turkish, Slovenian, Chinese and Spanish versions.
- Updated Scrivener Manual for 1.7.
- Media playback focus improvements.
- Table of contents (TOC) improvements.
- A memory leak fixed.
- Copy and paste from web and import from url improvements.
- Ability to re-order meta data.
- Page count fixes.
- Compile -> Transformation tab added 'Remove Highlighting' and 'Remove Text Color'.
- Snapshot rollback fixes.
A brief overview of fixes addressed in this beta include the following:-
- Highlighting lost on compile RTF/DOC/DOCX
- Annotation and footnote bubbles disappears with highlighting
- Lead italics of inline footnote affect marker in RTF/DOC/DOCX compile
- Suffix selection without leading space
- Incorrect info tips in Import/Export Options
- Compiled linked TOC should use prefix
- Fonts change working cross-platform
- Prefix uses title formatting when on separate lines
- <$pagecount> limited to RTF/DOC/DOCX compile
- Custom meta-data set to word wrap should always wrap in inspector
- Disable formatting options when focus in custom meta-data
- Web import as PDF fails
- "Connection Failure" error on copy and paste from webpage
- "About Scrivener" text can be edited
- Footnote markers not superscript when Override formatting enabled
- Character formatting stripped when using Override formatting
- Header and footer skips two pages when printing
- Inserted image size changing cross-platform
- Specific selection required to set default Editor formatting
- Changing editor defaults underline and highlight affects existing documents
- Typo: Open Office should be OpenOffice
- DOCX format available when using subsystems conversion engine
