Hi Folks,

I'm very pleased to announce our sixth, and hopefully final beta (famous last words - again!), before release. This beta addresses another ~50 refinements and fixes in Windows Scrivener.

For a detailed list of new features and bug fixes in 1.7 beta see the following posts:
Beta 1 fixes
Beta 2 fixes
Beta 3 fixes
Beta 4 fixes
Beta 5 fixes
This post pertains to the 6th beta release (1.7.0.6) and addresses the fixes we've made since 1.7.0.5 released on the 24th April 2014.

Beta 1.7.0.6 download is here:

What you're reporting there isn't a bug in itself, it's a function of the after-paragraph spacing and possibly just a result of how the text is displayed in the ebook reader. The beta versions give you a little more control than the 1.6.1 release in that you can apply Preserve Formatting to sections of text to prevent their formatting being overridden during compile, so for instance you could set specific spacing for your list or some of the list elements that would be different from the main text, then apply Preserve Formatting to that to maintain it through compile while standardising the rest of the formatting. I tried applying after-paragraph spacing to the documents as a whole in compile but used Preserve Formatting on all but the last line of the lists to keep them with no additional after-paragraph spacing (set in the editor) and it looks like it's displaying properly in Kindle Previewer.

Before you make the final release...

I'm preparing Russian translation now and find out what 'Compile' dialog doesn't respond to the interface language change. May be you fixed it already (I haven't check 1.7.0.6 version yet). Also there are some typos within countries names (mostly missed spaces between words).

Please zip and email me all the .ts files you have translated (lee AT literatureandlatte DOT com) so I can take a look at this for you. Posting to this forum will not be able to help you
Thanks,
Lee.
