This is a major change. Pastes from a browser are now interpreted by Scrivener's editor as plain text. In 1.6x, the editor attempted to render the HTML clipboard, retaining text formatting and links.

I hope this is not an irreversible call, as I have come to rely heavily on the prior behavior. :(

Which browser are you using? This appears to be working correctly with IE 11 but not with Firefox 27.0 or Chrome Version 32.0.1700.107 m. If you've tested with anything else, I'll add it to the bug report.

Thanks, MM. Using Firefox 27.0. The clipboard content is rendered as expected with links and formatting in Scrivener 1.6.1.0. In 1.7.0.2 Beta, an ordinary Copy is rendered as plain text only. A copy via the add-on Easy Copy is rendered as plain text with HTML markup.
