I like my Table Cell text white on black background. I can change the text to white without trouble. But when I go to Table Properties and change the Cell Background from the default blue to black, and Cell Background from None to Cell Fill, it won't save, and often Scrivener crashes.

Running 1.9.01 (Beta 64) on Ubuntu Studio 16.10.

Thanks, all!!!

I'm not seeing the crashing problem, but I too have need to have certain cells with a different cell background color and text color.

Using Scrivener for Windows & Linux Version (03 Oct 2018) on Windows 10 Home, the cell background color does NOT persist from one session to the next. I'm really hoping this is fixed in the next (soon to be released?) version.

FYI: As a workaround I am using the text highlighter, which does seem to persist from one session to the next. But it is, in no way, as easy on the eyes.
