Is it possible to import a .mobi file into Scrivener so I can work on it? It was originally produced on Scrivener but I have lost the original scrivener file.

Scrivener isn’t a native e-book editor, so you’ll need to export the e-book to a format more suitable to Scrivener. I suggest using Calibre to load the .mobi. It can convert an e-book to a series of files using its built in converter. I think it can export rich text files, if not, HTML may be best, and set Scrivener to import them as text instead of MHT or PDF (neither of which are editable of course).
