The Lit&Lat people have graciously consented to host the debs I'm building, so the new download link is: http://www.literatureandlatte.com/scriv ... 5_beta.deb (I felt funny directing people to my site for it. It just seemed kinda... spammy.)

For 32-bit users, install as usual. If you're running a 64-bit system, read through the instructions in the wiki:
http://www.literatureandlatte.com/wiki/ ... b_packages

I hope to be able to provide RPM packages soon, as well, but no guarantees on that front.

Hi Rob,

Thanks for making this. This installed okay on my computer and system. I am running ubuntu 11.04 32 bit. There was an error about file size, I think, but I ignored it, and Scrivener runs fine.

Rob,

Thanks for this! I used your .29 version. Amazing, cool!

Do I have to uninstall the previous version? And if so, how?

Apologies, I am a member of N00bie Brothers.
Thanks!

Oops! Thank you, and sorry for the late reply. But no, you shouldn't have to uninstall the old version first. I imagine you've already found that out, though, so again, sorry for not answering soon enough to be of help. My excuse is that I'm kind of lame like that.
