Hello,
I'm running XP. I installed Scrivener, opened a new short story project, and saved it NaNoWriMo2010 in My Documents. Then I ran the tutorial, named it lalala in My Documents, pressed save and the program stuck there. I used the Task Manager to end the program, opened Scrivener again from the start menu, and the lalala tutorial seems to be working fine now.
Thanks for all the great work!

As I'm going through the tutorial, I'm finding some stuff missing. It looks like it did not get to saving the tutorial keywords or snapshots before it started hanging.

There's been some bugs in it reported - Lee's working on it. Have you downloaded the .exe fix?

I haven't downloaded the fix. I just downloaded and installed the program a few minutes ago, and so I assumed the fix was included in the download. If it isn't, it would probably be a good idea to change the download so that the fix is what you get, or include the fix and/or instructions with the original dl. Do I need it?

You can get the hotfix HERE. It repairs some of the easier to fix glitches from the original Beta install. I'm sure eventually it will be repackaged. It was posted on the boards as a courtesy to those of us diligently reporting bugs.
I am running Scrivener Beta 1.4 onWindows XP Home Edition w/ Service Pack 3 installed on a Acer Aspire One netbook computer. I am also running it on Windows Vista Home Basic on a Dell Inspiron E1405 laptop.

Check the Bug List before you post!

Yeah, download the hotfix. It's actually just a replacement .exe file - that's why it isn't packaged with the download. It'll make some things run smoother.
