I'm trying to get updates and I get the following error:

"No active network connection found"

Now, as I am on this forum, and IE and Chrome both connect fine to the internet, this seems like an error

Is there a workaround?

Are you using 1.2.3? This problem was fixed in that for most, but there are still a handful of people having issues.
