Blimey it's December already.

Firstly, congratulations to the NaNoWriMo's. I hope you continue to fan those embers by continuing to write and put words on the page daily regardless of how you feel or what others say.

Unrecognised genius is a myth. For writers who can tell a quality story, it's a sellers market. Always has been. Always will be.

Secondly, we are continuing to plow ahead. Much to do. Much to do. Beta 1.4 is looking good for mid to late next week. I'm aiming for Wednesday; however, if it's Friday hopefully you'll understand - the more we can fix the better.

That's really it for now. I'll post early next week to confirm timings for the next code drop.

Very exciting! I'm enjoying Scrivener very much, and won NaNo this year using it! It was the best structured NaNo for myself EVER! I hope to never do another NaNo again without it. :D

This is my 9th NaNoWriMo. Won five, lost three previously. This year was the easiest I ever won.

Still lots to do, but I really think Scrivener, even in its beta form, helped me win.

Hey Lee! I'm noticing a lot of people freshly downloading the Beta and reporting old bugs that have been fixed in the newer versions of the Beta. I was wondering, when Beta 1.4 is released if you guys could update the main scrivenerforwindows.com page so that completely new downloaders are getting the newest version right up front.

The main page still says we are on Beta 1. And a link to the KNOWN BUGS list might be handy on that front page too.
I am running Scrivener Beta 1.4 onWindows XP Home Edition w/ Service Pack 3 installed on a Acer Aspire One netbook computer. I am also running it on Windows Vista Home Basic on a Dell Inspiron E1405 laptop.

Check the Bug List before you post!

Thanks Mightygitis, I will look into updating this. I believe the download is still 1.3 just the text stating 1.0. Bug list is also a good idea.

Thank you for letting us be your beta testers. I'm buying as soon as it is available. I won Nano and I think it is because the ease of working with this program allowed me to write as I think.

Thanks Lee! I finished NaNoWriMo really early this year -- all due to Scrivener helping me outline in the beginning and keeping me going through till the end! It's a nice little place to keep my short stories and poetry, too.

Just wondering, will double line spacing be in the new beta version? I'm going to start editing my NaNoWriMo Novel soon and it helps to have some space between lines when doing that. ;) Thanks again. :D

Dear Lee and All,

Maybe a bit stupid question, but what happens after the 12. december with the beta version. Will I be able to use it after that date or can I only work again with my documents when I have the full version?
