Hi,

I would like to create a novel compile that generates the following look ...

PART ONE

1925

Chapter 1 - Here
Chapter 2 - There
Chapter 3 - Everywhere

PART TWO

1961

Chapter 4 - You
Chapter 5 - Me
Chapter 6 - Them

In other words, split the book into Parts first then each part split into chapters, each with a number and name.

How would I set up the book and compile options to create this?

Thank you for any help you can offer.
Warmest regards
James

Hi

Scrivener for Mac includes a “Novel With Parts” template. Same in Windows?

If yes, it contains the organisation and compile options you need.

Thank you Briar. Perfect.

And due to Scrivener's brilliant MOVE RIGHT instruction to selected chapters, all done in a jiffy!

Thanks so much.
Warmest regards
James
