Hi All,
Just a short thing really.

I have just added Aeon Timeline onto MacUpdate here: http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/43278/aeon-timeline

The logo didn't update properly, but I will fix that up as soon as my developer account is sorted out.

If anyone is feeling particularly generous and wouldn't mind adding a few kind comments about the application over there in the review section, that would be greatly appreciated.

On a similar but different topic:

It would seem like a good idea for me to get copies of Aeon Timeline into the hands of some reviewers at the various Mac software sites, Mac magazines etc. I have never really read these kinds of things, although I know a lot of people do, so if anyone can suggest particularly popular publications and websites, please let me know!

Thanks,
Matt

Definitely contact the staff at MacWorld. Generally I find their reviews to be good, although they will sometimes (at least in Australia) republish press releases verbatim (duly acknowledged of course) - although part of me is irritated by this, it does lead to rapid dissemination of new products. The site & magazine have a wide, international, readership.

I read MacUser UK. I prefer it to MacWorld, and there is also MacFormat which I really don't like, but all three have pretty wide circulation. MacUser also has an iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch Newsstand edition. MacUser is published every two weeks; I don't know about the others. I believe a number of MacUser staff are Scrivener users.
