I was an enthusiastic user of the earlier alphas of Aeon, and worried that it had been abandoned. Hugely relieved to see it's back in business.

On the latest release, I've found a problem creating a new calendar using sixteenth century dates. These are the steps that cause the problem:

- create new standard calendar;
- enter timeline start date as 01/01/1579 and end date as 01/04/1579 (or 01/01/1580);
- the window becomes inactive, and the little red circle in the top left hand corner goes gray;
- Aeon crashes when I quit. I have attached an Apple bug report generated on one occasion, and sent another using Aeon's built-in crash reporter (the crash reporter was not triggered by previous crashes, for some reason).
- the problem seemed to get worse as I tried other start and end dates. I moved Aeon to trash along with the associated preference files (as identified by Hazel) and reinstalled it, but the problem remained.

Hope this is helpful, and good luck with your continuing development of a promising and much-needed product.

I can't reproduce this problem with a timeline with 2010/11 dates.

Thanks for the bug report.

I have fixed this bug, and will be able to release an update by the end of the week, once I have fixed a couple of others.
