I'd like to define a list of words for Scrivener to search and reveal all instances. Is this possible?

Yes, using the project search tool (Edit->Find->Search in Project), enter the words with a space between each. Set the option for "any word" and choose the other options that are appropriate for your needs* (like excluding the Trash folder, for instance). You can then save that search and return to it whenever you like. It should also highlight the found words, and you can use CMD-G to "search again", stepping from word to word from the list. You may have to select all of the documents from the search results and enter Scrivenings mode to do the last part.

* Click on the loupe icon to see and change these options, and again to save the search.
