As I'm getting older, smaller fonts are harder to read. Is there a way to change the default font size for comments?

Thank you!

Yes, you can do this in the Formatting preferences pane. About 2/3rds of the way down you'll see an option for "Inspector comments font". Note since comments are rich text this will not destroy the formatting in pre-existing comments, it will only set the default for new comments from that point onward. You can however tell Scrivener to forcibly update existing comments by selecting them, right-clicking on them and choosing "Convert to Default Formatting".
