Hi,

As you have more than likely already noticed, the the text views in the Text Editing tab of the Preferences panel and the Export Settings tab of Project settings contain quotes by Nietzsche and David Mitchell respectively.

Should you ever wish to have different quotes in these panes, you can. Inside the Scrivener.app bundle, you will find a small file entitled quotes.plist. This is, like all plist files, just a regular XML file. You can open it up and change the quotes to something you like better should the mood take you.

Obviously this file will get overwritten whenever you update Scrivener, but it's just there as an "easter egg" kind of thing...

All the best,
Keith

Nice. Useful if you want to see what your format tweaking will look like on a volume of text. Here is a famous quote which you will find most apt at this juncture:

Antoine de Saint-Exupery wrote:A designer knows he has achieved perfection not when there is nothing left to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.
