I love the freedom and flexibility of your program and find myself doing everything in your program, BUT, I still need to get page and word count. I know you can get an overall count of the document, but sometimes I need to get a count for a two or three pages. Will you be adding this, or is their outside software that would help me with this.

Outside of this, Scrivner is a slam dunk.

Thanks so much.

Select the text whose counts you need to know and then Ctrl-click on the selection. The word and character count is at the bottom of the menu.

And use View > Statistics > Project Statistics. This gives you a word count for all of the documents in the Draft folder (and a very approximate paperback page count) and also a word count of the selected documents.

every time I think it can't get better. Now, if we get page counts, I will never look back.

Thanks so much.

Because Scrivener doesn't do page layout, it doesn't do page counts - page counts have no real meaning in Scrivener.
