Alexandria, come quick!! (And bring Dakota!) I've found another one! :D :D :D :D :D

Stardust, I hope it's okay to snatch this off your blog. A little bird clued me in. Apologies for taking such liberties, but we are an endangered minority here, and must stick together.

(Like that stuff they put on your boots and saddles to keep your leg in place).

Not a problem...the second something's on the 'net I "let it go." :) Anywho, I'm glad to know I'm not the only Scrivnerer who rides. I too ride mostly TBs, but I've braved a Fresian as well...

As a professional, you, are your one and only asset. Without integrity you are worthless, but with it, you are priceless.

That nearly made me cry. This is not a great accomplishment, since I cried through all 3.5 hours of The Return of the King, but still. If I could I would live in a stable.

Just like Lancelot in the film clip, Zoe`s (Mollys Mum), horse, Pokey, has just finished quite a long period in isolation. She boards him 40 miles from her home, so she been making daily round trips of 80 miles a day to care for him. She`s totally committed, dedicated and devoted, to all things horse, and Pokey in particular. She`s deranged of course. And she `s stocious most of the time, but, let`s face it, except for myself, nobody`s perfect, are they.

Pokey is a HER.

Short for Pocahontas.

Filly. Slut. Witch.

Arab/Saddlebred mix. (Which only proves how deranged I am......)

Strained medial and lateral suspensories on front left, cavorting in the pasture (she refuses to give us details). I've just started her back with short jaunts to the outside on the end of a lunge, HEAVILY medicated, which seems to have very little if any effect on her. Think 900 pounds of kite on the end of a string.

Off to watch Lancelot. :D I don't know where Alexandria is hiding......

Of course she is! I`m just testing you to see if your reasonably sober, or ratarsed, flat on y`r back whistling "La Marseillaise".

I have a wife and 2 kids that I can only attribute to a wiggle, a giggle, and the realization that she was out of my league so I might as well be happy with her as a friend. 26 years marriage later, I can't imagine life without her. -Me 10/7/09

Is working with horses your job or a free-time activity? Either way, it must be very exciting. I'm currently limited to twice a week riding and am nowhere near being able to own my own horse.

My job? Ha!! I'd have been fired long ago, by both two- and four-legged employers.
No, love, it is my passion. I have dabbled at the lowest levels in just about every discipline (for awhile there I was switching every year  ). Now I do endurance, and a lot of trail riding, both of which have been lately sidelined by intensive bouts of rehab--the first when Pokes slipped and fell on me last summer, and lately when she wrecked her suspensories (described above). However, we forge ahead. Here she is, uncontrollable as usual, on the longe line:

Some days I wake up and think, there isn't enough alcohol in the world......

Sigh.

There would have been plenty if you and Vic-ky hadn't sat there and lushed it up at every opportunity.

Why are you wasting olives? Just drink right out of the bottle.

Up past his bead time again.

Poor Mrs. K must experience this more than we can imagine.
