Hello friends

I'm putting my writing into practice at the moment by blogging about my return to Papua New Guinea -- tropical islands north of Australia, where I lived and worked in the media in the 1960s and 70s.

I decided to grow old disgracefully by fulfilling my 30 year yen to return. I'm in PNG's capital of Port Moresby for 18 months working as an Australian volunteer, supported by AusAID, as Program Manager for the Media Council of PNG.

And as I say in my first posting on my new blog, I am as happy as a pig in mud.

Check it out at: http://pngtimetraveller.blogspot.com/20 ... n-mud.html

Cheers, Geoff

Thanks, Geoff. An excellent introduction to PNG. Your views of the place then and now are especially valuable. --Droo
