Back in 1985 I started writing a book about French clocks that is still print. The first chapter was handwritten and typed by a friend and the big breakthrough was an Amstrad PC that cost a small fortune and had no hard drive. I then went on to write a book about computer communications that was in print for about two years.

Many thanks to the Scrivener team for a magic piece of software that I am now using to draft a novel. I still need to do the writing but Scrivener will help me keep it all together and make life easier. Regards Nick.

Thanks for sharing your story, Nick! Glad to hear the software has been helping with your novel. We plan on having a "Write My Novel" button in version 4, but that's a ways off still.
