I haven't been this excited about a software release since WordPerfect 5.0 or 5.1 (for DOS, of course) promised drop-down menus in the next version.

Oh dear, looks like us Mac users have become second class citizens, according to a thread earlier today in a Windows forum viewtopic.php?f=31&t=8601 we can expect a release at 9pm UK time.

Is the price going up once 2.0 is available or is it staying where it is?

Just curious since I was planning on using this for NaNoWriMo but may break down and get it now if the price is going up.

It'll stay at $45 for 2.0; the price already was raised slightly to that when 2.0 was definitely announced and all purchases of 1.54 from that point on included a free 2.0 upgrade. And of course with NaNoWriMo you get the 50% discount code if you win!

As MimeticMouton says, the price won't be going up again for a good while as we put it up by $5 only recently. Thanks for thinking about buying - good luck with NaNo!
All the best,
Keith

I apologize if this has been covered, but I can't find it in these forums --

--is there a specific time frame today when Scrivener 2.0 will be released?
