Re: Scroller in full screen

I have "Scroller type" set to "No scroller" in Full Screen prefs, yet I am still seeing a (normal Aqua) scroller in full screen. I confirm a grey line still appears where the scroller should be (... or not be). It is this way both with No Scroller or Auto-Hiding Scroller selecte...

Keith, The project manager even offered to meet me to discuss things (though it's going to have to be a phone call instead given that we're on opposite sides of the Atlantic) Skype is your good friend. Even if I understand speaking two different languages (English and American) might be a harder pro...

Keith,

Possibly, I would like if importing becomes as easy as exporting to Final Draft. If some major reworking is needed to a screenplay, I would be happy to do the work in Scrivener again. For example, automatic conversion of FD scenes to Scriv documents would be nice.

Do you fly first class? Or on underutilized routes? A MacBook Pro emphatically does not fit on an economy class tray, unless you're willing to be more friendly with your seatmates than I am with most relatives. I can say the 15" version fits nicely on the tray of a second class seat of an Ital...

I love Eudora, after having used it for eons without a single message lost or messed up. So, I think I'll love its successor, Penelope.

Andreas, if you only need FTP and not SFTP, RBrowser is free, and works very well:

Probably, David already knows it, but now Mellel has widows and orphans protection (even if it calls it in a different, less dramatic way).

Understood - I had the "Pin/card opacity" slider set to zero, since this was the only way (I think) to hide pins in the previous version. So nothing happened with the "Tint cards with label colour" command. Thank you!

That's FANTASTIC!

I admit I didn't find the way to color the index cards, nor in the preferences or in the menu. May I ask where the new command or option is located?

CPQ, You can simply create an empty document in the Character folder, and copy & paste the name of your new character. This should required just three or four seconds. Also, I dont' know if this may help you, but I use the Keyword HUD to list all my characters, and drag them to the index cards o...

Voice recorders

Who is using a voice recorder as a complement for Scrivener? I've thought for years to buy one, and it seems current models are easy to use and create files that can be easily transferred into Scrivener for transcribing. I fear to buy another of the several indispensable tools that now lay around my...

I'm very happy with HP LaserJets. Those at the office are excellent. My old, trusty 4ML is doing is work since 14 year, and I can still buy replacement cartridges for it. Cant' answer for the other points. I use two LaCie USB disks, plus a small 2.5 Firewire case from OWC, and an old (and noisy) 4.5...

Character count is the norm here in Italy, too. Magazines ask me for a certain char lenght, not a certain number of words.

I can't try it now... But, what happens, if you open the .scriv package, and make an alias of all your documents? Would they appear in the Binder? Or, maybe you can move them out of the package, and then drag them to the Binder?
