The editor seems to have two settings: available screen width (that is, it doesn't run over the binder or the inspector, but it occupies the rest of the screen width), and a column maybe 800 pixels wide in the middle of it. Just to confirm this problem. I added a number of keywords, and after I had finished, a number of random columns had been added to the outliner.

1.9.8.0 update broken

In 1.9.7, I could often use Ctrl-Left to promote an item (move it left in the binder). That no longer works. Ctrl-left does nothing; ctrl-left TWICE in a row collapses the entry in which the item lives. NOT expected behavior.
