I do not know if this is a good memory or not... But this is from my years in college. COCOA programing? You kid me right? I had one of the earliest notebooks, not kidding one from Radio Shack, and no it did not have an internal drive, but lordy ran on one of them new fangled 3.5 drives and had 514 ...
release that KRAKEN! Updated the app on the Mac, got my files for the beast in there and yes, hunted and pecked for the footnotes. Grumble, should have remembered to export to Doc, and then saved to RTF, and then import to Scrivener. Now need to break those chapters into sections... but that is easy...
Oh and on that note, started the process, including getting those footnotes to behave in Scrivener. I had to literally remember how to do that in Scriv. Working on a non fiction piece on the Democratic Party realignment. So yes, that thing has a boatload of footnotes. Now if Kindle was nice enough t...
You all complaining about time zones, that's cute. I'm the one that has to stay up until 03:00 to be around for the launch! Lots of latte. Getting you a nice cup of virtual latte...special selection. (Scrivener selection, Costa Rican) I actually feel your pain...been there done that as wo...
I too have bought the whole Scrivener set to date, Mac and Windows, and now, just as Beta-testing has come to an end, Scrivener for iOS has been approved and is to become imminently available, my iPad Air 2 has decided it no longer wants to play and will no longer recharge its battery! :'( Happy to...

Yet, more than a few first drafts have been hammered on my iPhone on a simple markdown editor, waiting for council meetings to commence, or in between sessions. I find Daedalus a tad weak....
Whenever it finally comes... Though I think I have mostly, mostly is operative word, moved on. For fiction I have found another app. Non fiction. Still turn to Scriv.
What you came across are the well known, by MS, and never to be death with...issues with kernel control. They are...old, as in late 1980s old. The best program to deal with those was (is) Word Perfect. We have recently come across those gremlins at the paper. The issue also rears it's ugly face acro...
There is a reason why at this time I am using notebooks, across all platforms.
I guess will have to wait until scriv well, quite frankly, comes to the IOS platform. Until then, Notebooks is what it is since they are beta testing on all platforms I use.
Ah, today I picked a new IPAD, mine was on the really dying department. So now I cam ready for Scriv for IPAD. Mind you, the Macbook is also dying, but if it fails, no harm no foul. I got scriv running on the nettie No, not as fast as the macbook, but I won't be able to replace the actual laptop for...
