Re: PDF not displayed

As far as I know, PDF support is not available on linux (check the readme file). However, previous versions didn't display even blank pages, so perhaps support is coming?

Re: Image formats supported on Linux?

Ok, I only have bmp and png available, no gif or jpeg. The thing is, I have the same behavior on my netbook and my desktop, both of which are running Ubuntu 11.04.

Could someone else please confirm they can add jpg and gif images in Scrivener for Linux?

Re: [BUG] Fullscreen Mode and Scrivener Reboot

Just wanted to point out that, as of beta 025, the bug is still here :(

I will try to see if I can reproduce the bug on Windows as well as on Linux.

Re: Image formats supported on Linux?

Could this mean that no one is really using images on their projects? Or is this known already and that's what I'm not getting an answer?

Re: Toolbar missing on 025

It's not missing. One of the new features is that you can hide it. To make it appear, go to View > Layout > Show Footer View

Re: 025 Deb file available?

I'm sure someone will provide a deb package soon.

In the meantime, if you can't wait, unpack the Lit&Late folder in your home folder and use the instructions described in this post. Just remember to change the (your username) in the script to your actual username, without the parenthesis.

Image formats supported on Linux?

Right now, the only image format that the linux build seems to support is PNG. I just wanted to check if this is correct, or if maybe there is something wrong with my computer.

Re: 025 Startup time [LOGGED]

I noticed a slight increase in Startup time in my netbook yesterday (an AO150), but it was nowhere near a minute, let alone three. In fact, it has always impressed me how light the program seems. On my desktop it's almost instant. Both machines are running Ubuntu 11.04. Right now the size of my proj...

Re: [BUG] New layout shortcuts won't work in Ubuntu

Just to be perfectly clear, yes, if I map the combination to a different combination, they work on Scrivener. (Not that I'm going to leave it that way, I'm way too used to using Ctrl+Alt+Arrow to swtich workspaces that I might do something bad to my computer if it doesn't work).

[BUG] New layout shortcuts won't work in Ubuntu

I'm just trying out some of the cool new features in 025 and I'm loving them. You're doing an amazing job. Also, it feels snapier than the previous beta, even in my netbook. I just wanted to point out that the new layout shortcuts won't work in Ubuntu, since Ctrl+Alt+Arrow are used to switch between...

Assuming you're on Ubuntu, why don't you try the deb package?

No. It doesn't integrate at all with the top panel. The menu stays below, even when the program is maximized.

Hi, Jravan,

Could you throw a few pointer on how to use rsync with Dropbox? That could solve a lot of problems for me.

Re: Scrivener and Unity Interface

I'm on 32-bit Natty here, and I'm not having any problems. The Launcher auto-hides as expected.
