Re: Add a Basic Macro Capability

I say use the right tool for the right job. Scrivener is almost always the right tool, and when it isn't, I use another tool.

Re: Bookmarking selections from research articles?

So the goal is to see part of documents for reference and copying? Why not use the Scratchpad? Paste what you want in there. You could use the Bookmark feature opened as a sidebar in a Quick Reference. If PDFs are the document in question, Quick References also work and they show the (whole) doc's c...

Re: New Tab?

You can assemble files displayed as quick references in tabs and projects, too.

Is that what you are looking for?

Re: Problems highlighting text with Macbook Pro trackpad

I also have this issue. I am using a 2020 MBA. The problems seems to be with the trackpad itself. I did not have this issue with previous models of Macs. Scrivener seems unrelated.

Re: Copyholder color

Yes, I'd like to identify the copyholder specifically so I can compare two documents. A QRP is an option, as is using a split.

Re: Copyholder color

All I am after is to make it clear to the eye which editor is the copyholder. They seem alike to me.

Copyholder color

Can a copyholder window's color or border color be changed to distinguish it better from an editor window?

Re: Separators: How to change them; how to change their behavior

I've read the section, but do not find what I am looking for. I am getting two lines between section (See Image) and can't for the life of me change it. What am I missing?

Re: Items in Compile uncheck

I'm using v. 3.2.2.I'm on Big Sur, but the issue goes back to Scriv. v2.

When I choose to compile the screen looks as it does in the image. It should be that all items are selected because I selected them, but they are not selected when I leave Compile and then return to it.

Re: A Linked/Connected/Mirrored Text or Entry Possibility?

I'm not sure this is possible. For a single project, I was able to create a footnote for the abridged definition which contained a document link for the full definition contained in a separate document. When the document link is clicked, it opens in a split which allows for easy copy and paste edits...

Items in Compile uncheck

I have a project with 7100 documents. When I compile, in the last hundred, but not before, one item (not a specific, repeatable one) is unchecked having been checked to be included in compile. I also have a project with 300 documents. The same behavior occurs. This behavior does not appear to occur ...

Re: superscribed footnotes too small

I have included what I think is a fix. This was an issue long ago, so I can't say what I did. Endnotes are used here, but that shouldn't make a difference.

Is it possible to set a default for a new note and then change the font in the note so there are multiple fonts used?

Correction: The collections were pasted in, there were keywords which aren't part of the issue.
