[NB] How to create a shortcut to another document in the Binder?

The Antagonist in my mystery is also a Suspect. The Antagonists and Suspects sub-folders are in the Characters folder. Having the Antagonist character sketch in the Antagonists folder, as it is now, is it possible to place this sketch's shortcut in the Suspects folder? If not, what is the best way t...

[LH2751] Adding a folder as bookmark does not list its contained documents

Adding a folder to the document or project bookmarks does not show the chevron to its right in order to list the contained documents as a drop down menu. How can I enable that? BTW, in the Mac version, it does add the chevron.

[NB] How to consolidate all open Scrivener projects?

How do I merge all open projects in to one Scrivener instance with running tabs at the top for each project? I don't see the Window > Merge all windows option that is included in the Mac version of Scrivener 3. Thanks.

Re: Any way to set PDF to Fit Width of Editor by default?

Yeah, it seems like it's not possible to set this as a default.

[LH3015] Any way to set PDF to Fit Width of Editor by default?

I'd like Scrivener to open PDFs to fit the width of the Editor by default. Is this possible? At present, the only way I can do this is to manually goto View > Zoom > Fit Width each time, although Scrivener remembers my choice for each PDF. Thanks.

Re: Scrivener 3 Themes

That’s not going to be feasible to do without a Mac (and then of course you might as well just use the front end in Scrivener), and even then, you’d probably need to be a developer, to some degree, to do anything useful with the data. For the sake of curiosity, the base64 decodes to a binary serial...

and

However, they are both basically white (multiply each by 255 to get normal RGBA values).

Ok. But where did you get those numbers from in that XML output? I don't see them there.

Thanks for this, but it still displays the base64 code for the <data> tag. It's not displaying human readable RGB color values, for instance.

Re: How customize these user interface elements' colors?

I made it work, but the xml output is the following, which is even more confusing than the original XML structure: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd"> <pl...

Re: Still no settings option to turn off snapshot sound?

I hope this helps anyone looking for a solution. Another way is to do what I did - load the .wav sound into an audio editor eg WavePad (free and easy to use) and deliberately set the playback sound to what's comfortable to your ear and put it back in the Scrivener folder. 'Home' then right click an...

[Bug][RC5] Snapshot compare feature shows added text in shifted position

The snapshot compare feature shows added and removed text shifted from its actual position in the document. Please look at the screen shot below. This is probably a bug? Thanks.

Re: Mouse wheel scrolls too much in Outliner

These are the possible sources of this problem: 1. Directly related to the code used to develop Scrivener 3 RC. (You can't do much about this) 2. A setting has to be changed within Scrivener. I don't see an option for this in Scrivener 3 RC. So you'll probably have to change a setting in the theme f...

Re: Still no settings option to turn off snapshot sound?

Ok. Thanks. But, I found the solution to the turn down the volume exclusively for scrivener in the Windows volume mixer. 1. Open Scrivener RC and make a snapshot to play the sound 2. Now Scrivener will appear in the volume mixer's app list (scroll to the right if you don't see it) 3. Set the desired...
