I had a crash under exactly same circumstances. Opened my SG document in the new program (the document is about 300 pages long), clicked maximise as soon as conversion stopped and it crashed.

Happens every time I do it, like a clockwork. Opens the converted file with no issues, though.

Why are there so many Portlanders? Should I move to Portland? We have terrible beer here in Geneva, but lotsa good cheap French wine.

Keith, I've been using the beta for a day now - the experience is excellent. I don't want to admit it, but I think it stimulates my creativity :)

Keith, I've been playing with the beta for a while, and I'm astonished. This is head and shoulders above many other programs I've used. Instead of babbling about, I'll just go back and write; meanwhile, just wanted to tell you that the full screen is a delight to use, as is pretty much any other fea...

Hi AmberV, I've been trying to replicate your advice on my two Macs (PPC and Intel), and it never worked... strange.

Elsewhere I read that the widgets aren't supposed to move from the Dashboard.

This is a great program. I'd be using it a lot, if not for these little quirks (I understand that it's a beta, so it's OK): — All my Word documents defaulted to Typewriter, so I had to remove it from my system. — It doesn't work with Spell Catcher's shorthands (and I short-hand a great deal of m...

This is excellent. It's the only thing I've been missing in Scrivener — and why I moved to Ulysses to do the actual writing.

As soon as you implement it, I guess I won't need any other programs. I can outline, store my research, and write in one place.

Agree with those im favour of multimedia support. I've been using Scrivener for several months, and this feature is one of my favourites. Having an image in front of my eyes is an old inspiration of mine; I always search for images on internet for my ideas to have a spark. I'd appreciate having this...
