how do I create an exact duplicate of a Scrivener project?

I have created quite a rich and complicated novel with many folders and cards in a scrivener project. I wish to save this as it is, for now. I wish to create a second copy of the exact folder, so I can feel free to cut and refine wantonly. I don't know how to do this. I looked for save as, but did n...

Re: files jumbled -

Re: What Scrivener steps do you take in writing your novel?

Hello I'm rereading this wonderful thread again. I am finding my novel writerly way, although I tend to find myself on a plethora of round a bouts. I enjoy the journey and am thrilled to have Scrivener, as a fecund and life changing ally on my travels. I wonder- what are some of the less discovered ...

files jumbled -

I tried to divide up longer material into three folders by copying and pasting. Somehow everything got all jumbled up. Everything is out of order and I must have done something very dire. would you remind me how I select and see everything together? I've spent the last hour trying to reread and reco...

Re: after I search how do I create a new folder ?

Hi

Thank you.

I didn't want to move everything to the new place, but I would rather do that than not have the files saved together, at all.

Best

the rhythm with which to save and store keywords while writi

Hi Carradee and Apollo 16 Carradee Yes, what you wrote helps, thank you. I will continue learning to differentiate how to divide the story into quirky and helpful ways to search; I also haven't quite grasped the rhythm with which to naturally save and store keywords while I am writing. I imagine the...

Re: trying to understand how keywords might work?

Apollo Could you explain a bit about exactly how you use keywords for the ticking time bomb or how one might use keywords for theme? I don't know why learning to use keywords is being mysterious for me, but it is. I have a strong sense when I grasp how to work with them it will be very helpful. Than...

Hi

thank you for your response.

I am appreciative and still flummoxed.
Perhaps it is like a language I may never entirely understand but might under/inner stand a bit more.
