The highlight is no longer blue, but uses the system accent colour.

Re: The current line I'm editing defaults to the screen centre

Thanks for the sample project - I was able to reproduce the problem (typewriter scrolling was jerky and turning off typewriter scrolling resulted in the phantom scroll issue). I've changed the workaround - hopefully the new one will be more reliable. I believe the underlying bug is caused by the exp...

Re: The current line I'm editing defaults to the screen centre

That's strange, as I thought this was fixed a long time ago. The underlying bug is an arcane one in Apple's text system, but this is the first I've heard that anyone is still encountering it - it's fixed for me (I can reproduce it when removing the workaround code, but not otherwise).

Re: Test Scrivener's New .docx Converters

Sorry, is this a bug in the Aspose conversion only, or in Scrivener's own .docx converter too? I'm confused as this is the Scriv converter thread but you seem to be saying it's the Aspose ones. If it's Aspose, how does RTF do? (Aspose converts from RTF.)

Re: Italic causes incorrect font

Unfortunately there's a known bug in the latest version of 3.2 that can cause Compile to throw an error (and not appear) if it was set to override the Compile format font. I'll have a 3.2.1 fix out for this tomorrow.

Keith

Re: Bug? Compiling with tables outputs multiplied columns and rows (Scrivener v. 3.2 (14343))

Would it be possible to send us a copy of the project (zip it up and send it to mac.support@literatureandlatte.com)? 3.2 users a new .docx exporter by default - one I built myself rather than the Java-based third-party option we were using before - and it looks as though this may be a bug in the nex...

Re: New update crashed Scrivener

I ran the update today (3.2) and for the first time in all the years I've used Scrivener it crashed. About five times in a row - I submitted the reports. I feel lucky to have never had any issues with it before, but this was pretty disturbing. I noticed that it was crashing every time I would try t...

Re: Bullet menu is ghosted since I installed Big Sur on my Mac.

To address the topic: the build of 3.2 now available on the site fixes the italics bug (this was caused by a change in Big Sur along with some oddities of Scrivener). It's *always* been good netiquette to *search before you post.* Agreed. Looking forward to downloading the 3.2 update in the App Stor...
