Spelling Ubuntu 11.04

I've just installed Ubuntu 11.04 and a fresh install of Scrivener 0.2.3 and now have no spell checking. Does anyone have any idea how to rectify this?

Re: Aaaarrgh! (in which I inexplicably lose ~4000 words)

I seemed to loose all my words but found that the default colours had changed all on there own. This has happened a couple of times but the solution is easy. Edit > Options > Appearance and put all the colours back to default. Hope your problem is simply this.

Project Statistics

When I look at the project statistics it gives a larger page count for printed pages than paperback pages. Is that correct? Since a paperback has smaller pages than the paper you put in your printer, you can't fit as many words on it, therefore you'd need more pages. Am I talking rubbish?

Re: Beta 0.2.2 not working

Hey garpu, I tried to follow your instructions to manually link the lib files in your list and no matter what I do, only some of the files show as linked when I do ls -lh (I also still get the "file too short" error when I try to run ldd). I am not a Linux expert by any means, so chances ...

Re: Beta 0.2.2 not working

This assumes you're familiar and comfortable with basic shell commands like cd, ls, sudo. ........... Good luck! It's really not as hard as you think. up arrow will bring up the last command you gave in a shell, so that should save you some time. (As will vi bindings, if you're comfortable with tha...

Re: Beta 0.2.2 not working

Actually it does work. I know ownership is messed up, but I forgot to sudo when linking. I'll chown everything correctly in a bit. I just wanted to verify that it'll work. This is how things should be linked up. ln -sf is your friend. (Worst case if you screw up, just delete the entire file and unp...

Beta 0.2.2 not working

I can't get the new Linux 0.2.2 to run. Has anyone else managed to do it? Using the instructions given at http://literatureandlatte.com/wiki/doku.php?id=Running_Scrivener_in_Linux I get "error while loading shared libraries: /usr/local/LiteratureAndLatte/lib/libQtWebKit.so.4: file too short&quo...

Re: 25th MARCH - LEE"S UPDATE - FINAL BETA RELEASED

Lee, you asked us to post bugs here so here goes. When I open keywords the top of the bar is off screen so I'm unable to close it. Its the same type of problem that used to occur (now fixed) when the inspector was opened, except that used to make the bottom of Scrivener disappear off the bottom of t...

I'm using 1.9 and I can resize the window fully when the inspector is hidden, but when I show the inspector the window suddenly resizes itself so it no longer fits on the screen.

Same for me. As far as I can tell the bug still exists.

Re: Is there any way to fix the spell checker?

The spell check didn't work for me either so I reinstalled using the deb package supplied by randywallace and now it works. Don't know how he manages to get it going when he produces the packages.

The spell checker does not work in 1.7 Linux. 1.6 worked fine on my system. Anybody else got this problem?

Re: Scrivener window size changes innappropriately

I think things are a bit clearer with a screen shot. I'm using Linux and this problem occurred in 1.6 as well as 1.7 and I thought it was a know bug? Maybe not. If you turn the inspector on then Scrivener resizes automatically to fit the high of the screen when running the windows version in wine. H...

I have it in my version of 1.7. It's between docx and webpage in the drop down menu.

It's not in mine either.
